Ballasted System
The Rubber membrane covers the underlay with no extra fastenings and is secured by ballast. This system is ideal for older roofs where the base is dry and not damaged. Removal of the old felt is not always necessary.

Fully Bonded System
The rubber Membrane is bonded directly to the decking with substrate adhesive and no additional fitting is required, such as ballast. In this case, the base must be sound and in a reasonable level condition and dry.

Mechanically Attached System
In preparation, rubber strips are laid lengthways to form a grid, which are secured by round metal anchor plates with woodscrews. The rubber membrane is then adhered to the grid with splice adhesive. No additional fitting is required.
