Rubber Roofing Product Supply
EPDM Rubber Membrane 1.14 guage
Rubber membrane sheeting to a thickness of 1.14 mm. For use on all installation methods - fully bonded - ballasted - Mechanically attached.
Geotextile Barrier Underlay
For Ballasted and Mechanically attached systems The geotextile underlay acts as a barrier between the substrate (roof decking) and the rubber membrane. Also the underlay has good thermal insulation properties
Roof Edge Aluminium Trim
Cosmetic finish to upstand edges where the EPDM is adhered over the upstand edge and down onto the facia board.
Substrate Roofing Adhesive
This is a type of contact adhesive that bonds the EPDM to the substrate, but not to be use d to bond EPDM to itself. We supply these in 20, 5, and 2.5 litre. Small 250 ml are available for smaller applications.
Water Based Decking Adhesive
Specially formulated to bond EPDM to new decking such as 18mm exterior plywood. Slow cure time so easy to stick squarly and flat. Available in 5 litre containers.
Seam Splicing Adhesive
This adhesive adheres EPDM to itself, this is necessary when used with the mechanically attached system to stick the EPDM strips to the Membrane sheet, or when a splice is needed for irregular shaped roofs
Splice Adhesive Spirit
This special solvent cleans and degreases the surface of the EPDM before the seam adhesive is applied.
When the Ballasted system is used, this substance is applied 100 mm in from the gutter edge. It is non-setting and prevents the ballast from being dislodged into the gutter.
Uncured Rubber (Raw Rubber)
This is EPDM in is raw form and is used for difficult detailed roof areas, such as pipes, vents or skylights. As it is uncured, it is very elastic and can be manipulated and formed by hand for detailed work such as pipes, windows, vents and skylights.
Anchor Strips and Plates (Russ Strip)
For use with the mechanically attached system; a grid is formed with the strips and is then fastened to the roof decking with anchor plates. The EPDM is then bonded onto the grid using the seam adhesive.
